Wood For The Fire

Wood For The Fire

Moses lives near the sea. His grandfather is a fisherman and his grandmother collects wood each day for their fire. As time goes on Moses realises that his grandfather catches fewer and fewer fish and that his grandmother collects less wood each day. When they find out what is causing the problem, they realise that something has to be done about it. This delightful story teaches readers about the ecological problem of cutting down trees too close to a river bank and the resulting effect on the fish in the river.
